  • 9:30 am - 6:30 pm

Applications are open for the University of Cambridge Creator Lab, organised by CapCut × EAST2046. Spend one day in Cambridge responding to a real brief from a partner charity or social enterprise.

Thursday 22 October 2026, 9:30 AM–6:30 PM BST. In person at the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM), University of Cambridge. Places are limited.

Choose one track:

1. AI/Hybrid Film: create a 60–180 second campaign video in CapCut. Submit your video and a reusable production workflow, documenting sources, AI use and fact-checks.

2. Interactive Web Page: create an HTML page for the partner’s brief with at least two types of interaction. Submit your page and a reusable workflow, documenting sources and AI use.

Work is judged on both the output and the workflow, so partners can build on what you create. Each participant receives $100 worth of CapCut production tokens for use at the event.

There are two winners on each track: first prize is a £150 Amazon gift card; second prize is a £100 Amazon gift card.
