We’ll be joining repair groups around the world on 17th October, International Repair Day, to help fix people’s broken stuff and share repair skills.
Request a repair here.
Experienced Cambridge Repair Cafe volunteers will work together with volunteers from local company Sentec – a Xylem Brand – to help fix your broken and worn toys and gadgets, clothes, electricals and all sorts of household items. We’ll do our best to fix your item but if we can’t, we’ll try and suggest a next step.
We strongly recommend booking your item in advance – this enables us to do background research and make sure we have the most appropriately skilled repairer working on your item. We’ll keep a few walk-in repair slots for the day, and will do our best to fit your item in if you are unable to book in advance.
Enjoy tea, coffee and cakes while you wait for your repair!
Repairs are free but donations are welcome.
This is the tenth International Repair Day, when events are held all around the world, celebrating the power of repair to bring our communities together, reduce our impact on the planet and teach new skills.
