Dive into the timeless art of traditional block printing in this festive, hands-on workshop. Over the course of two hours, you’ll explore pattern, colour and design in a relaxed and welcoming setting, with plenty of inspiration for creating something special for the season.

Choose from over five hundred beautiful hand-carved block designs, including a selection of festive motifs, and learn the techniques behind this traditional craft. You’ll have the freedom to experiment with colours and patterns to create your own unique designs, whether you choose something distinctly festive or a design you can enjoy all year round.

Our workshops are also a lovely opportunity to slow down, connect with others, share ideas, and enjoy the simple pleasure of making something by hand.

Here’s What to Expect:

  • We start by giving a step-by-step demonstration to guide you through the basics of block printing.
  • You’ll have plenty of time to practice on test fabric, get comfortable with the process, experiment, plan your design and share ideas.
  • Once you’re ready, you’ll design and print your own items to take home – something you can feel really proud of!
